What we have and what we need in BI?

There is no doubt that from SQL Server 2005 version onwards Business Intelligence (BI) solutions has been better as compared to the previous versions. Still it is interested to know what is the Microsoft's strategy on the expansion of BI. Having the integration of Proclarity with BI is a major advantage to integrate & manage the reports that features new dashboard tools and analytic applications for budgeting, planning and other financial tasks for analysts.

The bottom line is SQL Server 2005 makes BI better with benefits far outweighing the costs. Over and above SQL Server 2000 & other BI tools, to the next level of business understanding with integrated tools, faster performance, more reliability and availability, and an easy low-cost upgrade path.
