Hush hush about next release of SQL Server
When I have attended the MVP global summit there was much talk and sessions on SQL Server next release 'Katmai', well I cannot talk much here due to the NDA.
I'm surprised to see first (may be) press release on the upcoming features information about the Katmai over here during the BI conference in Seattle, and also see this FutureVersion homepage on Microsoft site.
Just an excerpt on this from MS website:
SQL Server code name "Katmai," the next release of Microsoft SQL Server, provides a comprehensive data platform that is secure, reliable, manageable and scalable for your mission critical applications, while enabling developers to create new applications that can store and consume any type of data on any device, and enabling all your users to make informed decisions with relevant insights.
