SQL Server 2005 was released as a complete Business Intelligence (BI) suite. The new and enhanced features of SQL Server 2005 over SQL Server 2000, enables creating much better and robust BI and data warehousing applications.

As the title suggests this session would discuss the benefits of creating a data warehouse and how one would implement it. Furthermore, best practices in data warehouse design plus other tips would be shared.

SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services

SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is Microsoft's report writing tool for authoring, managing, and delivering reporting for entire organization. Reporting Services in SQL Server 2005 provides additional enterprise reporting capabilities and addresses a new audience.

This discussion would look into the basics and the architecture of Reporting Services and other features such as Report Builder and Security.
