UK User Group Community Days @ Microsoft, Thames Valley Park - free to attend

As blogged here earlier the User Group Community Day is fast approaching and still places are available for the interested IT users to bring you the third of its free to attend community days and this time we are bigger and more in depth than ever.

Why 2 days?

This Two day event will include group sessions for all as well as breakout sessions on specific technologies across 5 rooms so you are guaranteed to find something you want to participate and listen to. Many of the speakers are recognised Community experts as well as MVP awardees in their respective technology plus we hope to have a fair representation of Microsoft staff as well.

Do you need to chill-out during evening?

Evening event - Not content with running two full days of great IT Pro focuses sessions we are also running an evening event for both days. The idea behind this event is that is a chance to chill out with your peers and the speakers and Microsoft personnel from the day. Find out more.

Venue and dates please?

This User Group Community Day being held at Microsoft Campus in Reading on April the 8th and 9thFor details on the venue location for those that have not been to the Microsoft Campus and this will start with the introductions and Keynote at 9.30am so aim to be arriving at the venue for 9am if possible.

Where can I register?

What else is included for this excitement? 

There will be User Group community stands outside the main conference hall so you will be able to chat with representatives of the User Groups in breaks and at lunch. There will be lunch provided for all attendees as well teas and coffee’s at the breaks.

Wait, we haven't finished yet to give you more excitement?

A new section is created for Attendees, IT Hero Section which is held between 16:55 and 17:30 hours.

So what's the big idea behind it?

The idea behind this section is that one person from each of the technology areas represented on the day will come out of the audience to talk for around 5 minutes about a solution they have been involved with that uses the latest Microsoft technology (Server 2008 for example).
