It is 1 year (first anniversary) that SQL Server 2008 Community Technology Preview is released, I have seen many good things and few peeves about this new version of SQL Server. Not to mention about largest conference is lined up for the users aka 'Tech-ed 2008' which is a huge learning opportunity too.

So what you have learned from last 4 CTP releases?

We talk about features means it is worth revisiting some popular posts here that will highlight the subject;

As you can see lot of resources available from Microsoft site and MVPs in addition to what I stress always to review Books Online for SQL Server 2008 (CTP) that will give you a 'nutshell' stuff for you on learning perspective.

To closeup the topic only one question comes into mind that When is next CTP instalment of SQL Server 2008 set to release? and copying the SQL Server 2008 features and getting through CTP, RC, RTM. Are we there yet? information again.

I would guess for another announcement of CTP is expected in this coming weeks during Tech-ed, which is referred from Data Platform Insider blog as "A release candidate for SQL Server 2008 will come out in second quarter with final general availability in the third quarter".

So keep watching this space!
