Keep your eyes open for Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 - now you can rest now (available now)

As per the KBA-BlogPost on Cumulative Update 4 for SQL 2005 SP2, Microsoft confirms that this cumulative update package will be released in the October 2007 timeframe. The information that is presented here is subject to change at any time before the release date without prior notice.
If you need to refer for the list of builds after the release of SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2 you need to review this 937137 KBA. There were recent changes to the Servicing Model for SQL Server that was confirmed from the 935897 KBA, this is much helpful for SQL Development team to deliver the hotfixes to include them in upcoming Service Packs.
Lastly if you haven't tested or obtained the latest service pack for SQL Server 2005 which is Service Pack 2(by the time this blog is being written), refer to this 913089 KBA.
